Is it bad practise to buy at "market" price?

Main Post: Is it bad practise to buy at "market" price?

Top Comment: For thinly traded stocks you have to be careful. Even if the spread is tight, you may find that the volume at the Buy price (if you are Selling) is taken out by your sell order and then the next lower buy comes into play, which might be a big gap down. Also Buys that you may be observing can be removed before your Sell order comes into effect, so you could also end up selling below what you are expecting. The opposite applies if you are Buying. For highly traded stocks, which usually have a tight spread, it should be OK as your order or the removal of some orders that are already in play are not going to effect the price you get. I usually trade AAPL or MSFT at market, as I know I will get the trade close to the last trade price, even if it moves a few cents either way.

With the stock market on record high... when should I start buying again?

Main Post:

My small portfolio of $50k is currently 18% in positive. It was just when I invested some money the market picked up so thank god for that haha but I wanted to put in more money slowly however at this time everything is so HIGH, I understand the strategy of buying in fractions regardless of the fluctuations in the market but its just too damn high right now I am almost certain things will fall.

What is everyone else doing? Should I just sit still or still buy stuff.

Top Comment: Continue to DCA.

OSRS Buy/Sell Accounts on black markets

Main Post:

Hey, Reddit!

So my friend wants to get back to OSRS after very long time. BUT, he does not want to play this game from complete zero. In other words he is planning on buying account from some seller, for about 400$. With some stats maxed and other stats are leveld up quite decently..

I strongly unrecommend him doing this. I mean, I dont care much where he spends his money, but I think buying account like this is very risky, due to of risk of being banned. But I'm not sure and I can't defend my argument on this as I have a lack of knowledge about it.

So what do you guys think about this? I mean is buying account might a way to go? Or is it risky and strongly unadvised and why?

Top Comment: I would view it as a poor choice. Not o my is he risking losing a lot of money but what’s the point in even playing the game if you skip almost all of it.

Are there any flea markets with old items for sale in Prague? When and where?

Top Comment: The flea market on U Elektry is generally pretty fun. It’s only open on Saturday and Sunday between 06:00 and 14:00. You need to get there pretty early because some stalls start closing by 12:00ish.
